Cooking
The weather has been all over the place. Some days are only in the 40's and some are up to 60's. On the cooler days, sometimes we cook.

15 Month Stats
A bit late, but here they are:
Weight: 20 lbs 4.5 oz (13th percentile)
Height: 30.5" (51st percentile) I think this might be wrong...
Head: 46 cm (53rd percentile)
12 teeth and no ear infection (for once).
We will be getting a hip X-ray for her "uneven gluteal fold"... basically she's had a strange little fat roll since she was born on the right side. The doctor thinks it's probably nothing, but we'll get it checked out.

Rainbow Stacker
One of my favorite projects to date!
I ordered the rough wood cut-outs from another MI seller on Etsy. I sanded them all smooth. Then I watercolored the pieces and sealed with beeswax.
I'll give these to S as a gift for moving her into her "Big Girl Room"... and out of the family bed.

Getting ready for company
Well it's April and N is getting ready for his annual father-son fishing trip. It will be a lot more years 'til R is ready to go with N. For now, I need a little help. So that fabulous Nonna is headed here on Wednesday to help this tired mama out.
I've got so many, many plans and projects for us. I'll be pleased as punch if we accomplish anything. Just having the help and warm conversation is the best part of any of these visits.
Can't wait to see you Nonna!!!

New Glasses
Today I picked up my new glasses. They are a bit retro and a bit stronger than the last pair. I really like 'em!

Long Day
My friend who moved to Ann Arbor needed us to come visit today. So, the kids and I canceled our plans and went to help out a friend in need. It's about an hour drive to her house... so it made for a long day. When we got home, I got started hard boiling eggs for dying right away. Problem was, I was tired, and so were the kids. It made me sloppy. We weren't home 15 minutes when R starts screaming in the kitchen.
He decided to touch the burner. Thank GOD he didn't pull the pot of boiling water onto himself. But still, he got burned pretty good. His fingertips are giant blisters. Here's him holding them up...
I'm hoping that the excitement of tomorrow distracts him from his pain. Here are a few pictures of what the bunny left:
For S: A baby sensory bin, a book, a rainbow jingly ball and some other small basket stuff.
For R: An updated sensory bin, an eye spy game, do-a-dot markers, water guns and other small basket things.
