Sensory bins... a little late

These bins don't really have any new things in them, just recycled from last year...

Fine Art's First Day

Finally got a chance to dig out some artwork... mostly from preschool, but some from home...

I'm trying out the mini-clothespins and sting method.  So far, S wants to pull them off the string.  We'll see how it goes.

N vs. Chain link fence

Buying a house in winter is always a challenge.  Since we tend to buy houses that need *ahem* some work, we never know what we'll find when we begin to clean it up.  My current example is that under a couple years worth of fallen leaves, we found some sort of ancient concrete footer.  It apparently runs the entire lenght of our back yard.  We have no idea what it was for, but it appears to be a property line of some sort.  This made a bit of a challenge for N to put in new chain link posts.

Here's the back of our rag-tag new property:

Some photos from R (who now insists on taking the camera everytime it's out):

New additions

I have a friend here who's daughter is all grown-up.  She's ready to get rid of her child things and her daughter doesn't want them.  Well, we want them!  They are fabulous wooden finds!

I'd been drooling over dollhouses all winter and couldn't afford the Waldorf ones.  This is better than any I perused online!  Mainly because she made it, but also because it's just cool...

These pictures are from the entryway.  We didn't even make it upstairs with the dollhouse.  Now the little cradle below, that's fitting nicely into S's room...

Our House... in the middle of our street!

N finally took a picture of the front of our new pad...

She needs lots of work, but we're loving the extra space!

Playroom pictures by R

The unpacking is quite a process.  But I've been working hard to get the playroom in shape.  I wanted to take some pictures, but R took the camera and did it for me...

Not bad for a 4 year old!
