She's here....

Baby Saffron was born at 6:35 a.m. on the 19th. She was 8 lbs and 2 oz.

She's a great baby and makes a funny little squished face... thus I've affectionately been calling her "squishy". We intend to call her "Saffie" most of the time... :)

40 weeks

No baby... no real progress...

My pelvic pain is starting to increase to the point of having trouble walking... I'm hoping that means she's gettin' ready.

I'm having several "surges" each day... but nothing consistant.

Nonna is only here for another 5 and a half days... really hope the baby comes while my help is still here.

We walked the mall today to try to coax her out. She's gotta like shopping, right? Now we're making a double batch of chili and I'm going to start working on little projects around the house. We are all getting a little antsy...

39+ weeks...

Still pregnant. Nonna is here and she is a huge help… just hoping baby comes out while she is still here… no real signs so far…

She and I went and got pedicures last night. It was great (got a polish-free manicure too). I asked them to find the "baby come out button", but apparently they had no luck.

Today, my midwife said that I am dilated to a 1 and 50% effaced, but nothing really going on. Baby's still up high and I've only had a handful of "surges" today. Hoping for more tonight/tomorrow.

Food Shower

Last night was my food shower from my lovely Beaumont Group. They were so sweet. They bought me dinner and we had excellent conversations at Maggiano's, a fun Italian restaurant. They also brought me frozen meals for after the baby gets here.

I'm blessed to have so many mamas looking out for me and our little family.

Motherblessing

It was wonderful last night... trying to find out how to get the pictures from the hostess...

Here's one...
hopefully a few more to come.
