Last week was the Career Fair. Nico went (in his cute brown suit with tangerine shirt and tie) and mingled with potential employers. He scored two interviews and looks like he may have more in the works. He celebrated on Friday by hanging out with his guy friends.
Saturday we powerwashed the East side of the house and the front (south). Then we went a little powerwash-happy. We did the entire back deck and it looks AMAZING! It's like a whole new backyard.
Saturday night we went over to our international student's house. He and his roommates cooked us dinner. It was very nice. On Sunday, we got up early and put a primer/sealer on the areas that we powerwashed.
Yesterday afternoon we put the house color over the primer. It looks much improved.
Just so that you know we haven’t forgotten the bathroom, I’m including pictures of the tile.

And the light/exhaust fan and crown molding. Next we install the doors and base trims, after those Nico says that we put in the real important stuff like the vanity and toilet.
Wow, it will be really nice to have a functioning bathroom. Maybe we'll even move back into that bedroom. Praise God!

Love it, love it, love it. Am so thrilled the end is in sight. The deck looks great, too and am sure the outside of the house is much improved with primer and paint. Congrats on a job well done -- attaboy and attagirl -- The remaining inside fixup agenda should be a piece of cake compared to where you started.
