Rainy summer days and a couple teeth!

I love, love, love summer thunderstorms! (My neurotic dog, not so much.)

I had been saving a set of window crayons for just such a day and they were a big hit!  And they came back off the glass really easily as well (bonus!).

And in other random news, R lost his first and second tooth (bottom middle).  All in one night!  And he has another loose one, this one on top.  The tooth fairy is busy!  Glad that I participated in that toothfairy swap ages ago!!!

Happy 4th of July!!!

While we are enjoying some much needed family time, I hope you enjoy a peak at my latest sensory bin.  R did not want his bugs taken out, so S is the only one we

who consented to Red, White, and Blue! 0

 It's not entirely wooden, but it's pretty close!  And I spent all of $.99 on a package of patriotic stars.  The rest is all re-purposed from other bins and my craft closet.  

It's the perfect time to discuss our country's birthday and our flag!

Summer Nature Table

Just a quick shot of our Summer Nature Table (shelf, really).

I may have mentioned before, but we can't have anything wooly or felt on the nature table anymore.  While we are out of the house our neurotic weimaraner will eat anything made of wool, wool stuffing, or felt.  Bad dog!

Welcome Summer!

We've been sooooo busy.  Swimming lessons took up most of our time.  They are quite a bit closer to being fish!



We celebrated the Summer Solstice this year by having many friends over to grill food, drink beverages, and to TIE DYE!!!  We had so much fun and chaos that I got almost no pictures!
